Visit Pembrokeshire

Discover the charm and beauty of the Pembrokeshire coastline. Our coastal holiday cottages make the ideal base for you to explore this much-loved area of Wales. Start with a morning coffee on the patio, with a gorgeous view down to the sea.

There is so much to explore on a Pembrokeshire holiday.

Colourful Tenby

Tenby is just 5 miles away from Pentlepoir, a tourist hotspot. The historic cobbled streets are packed full of bars, cafés, restaurants, pubs, hidden alleyways where you’ll find little eateries, bookshops, fudge and ice cream, and plenty of places to sit and watch the world go by.

The harbour and beaches are spectacular, and there’s nothing better than taking a break with an ice cream to cool off after a walk around town on a warm summers day.

Visit the monks at Caldey Island

A trip by boat to one of Britain’s holy islands, the monks and islanders of Caldey welcome visitors on day-trips. It’s a pleasant 20-minute boat ride to the island from Tenby, and once there you can explore the Old Priory, the medieval churches or wander the island with a free guided walk. The lighthouse gives stunning views of the Pembrokeshire coastline and beyond. Be sure to buy some of the chocolate and shortbread made on the island!

Puffin Spotting

Less than an hour away by car, Skomer or Skokholm Island to the West is where the puffins live. There’s nothing quite like the site of 6,000 colourful puffins returning to the islands around March each year. It’s the largest colony of puffins in the south of Britain, and it’s a lovely boat trip from Martins Haven Beach between April and September each year. Spend time with nature when staying at Evening Star Cottages.

There’s so much more to explore though, from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park to paddleboarding and watersports galore, quaint towns and villages, golden beaches, perfect sunset spots, and something for the foodies. If you’re unsure as to the best places to visit during your stay, we’re always happy to offer you guidance and point towards our own personal favourite spots in Pembrokeshire.
