We’re the Owen family, Tom and Rhian. We live on-site in the 18th century-built Evening Star Farmhouse with our three children Jess, Libby, and Lloyd, along with our cocker spaniel pair of Paddy and Rex.
We’re not sure whether it’s the kids or the dogs that give us the most trouble, but you’ll see them all around the place, playing in the paddock or helping us keep things ticking over for guests.
Originally from Cwmbran in South East Wales, we relocated to the area in June 2022 after falling in love with the coastal environment and the beautiful Pembrokeshire area. We bought Evening Star Farmhouse and the original two cottages in December 2022, putting everything into creating a warm and welcoming holiday destination for our guests. Since then, we’ve converted the old chicken shed, creating four more lovely cottages with plenty of space for larger groups or families as part of a loving renovation. Each are two beds with pull out beds available to accommodate more guests in Razor Clam and Cockle cottages.
Each of the cottages has been decorated and furnished to make them your home-away-from home whether you are staying for a weekend or for a long week away. The paddock off the main yard is open for you to use at your leisure, perfect for the kids to play while you sit on the benches with a drink. Dogs are welcome but always be mindful to keep them under control at all times and be careful of the horses that are found grazing in the fields next door.
We feel it’s a privilege to live in this stunning part of the world, and we welcome you to experience it too.
The Pembrokeshire coastline offers some of the most breathtaking views in the UK. We’d always promote Wales as a holiday destination, and our beautiful collection of holiday cottages in Pentlepoir give you the perfect base to explore this stunning part of the world. You’ll find us in Pentlepoir, just a short walk down into Saundersfoot with its scenic beach and harbour, Tenby and Narberth are just a few miles away too, as is Folly Farm for a family day out. We’ve got parking on-site if you plan on exploring West Wales by car, but there’s also a bus stop 100m from the cottages and Saundersfoot railway station is under ½ mile away with regular services both west and east.
